How To Find Us

How to find us! GPS generally is not our friend and people often end up in really weird places.

Go north on Oracle Rd/Hwy 77 to Wilds Road; Coronado School is on the NE corner.

Turn right (east) on Wilds; go 2 blocks to Bowman; turn right (south) on Bowman.

Go to the end of the pavement, and go another couple hundred yards till you see our gate (pictured on our webpage) that says “Christmas Valley” on it.

You have arrived! If we have an event on that day, the gate should be open. Otherwise, push the call button. If no response, try calling my cell phone – 520-237-4231.

Pastured Poultry

We offer poultry raised free range, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine all day long. They have access to pasture and garden greens, and the occasional grasshopper and grub - and are fed organic feed. Unfortunately a pair of bobcats took out our layers, so we just have 10 brand new hens left who just started laying, maybe 5 a day. Eggs are small, though they're beautiful! And there's nothing better than a pastured egg. If you give me a heads up 2 or 3 days in advance I can have a dozen for you. Will have a whole new flock laying in the spring so plenty of eggs then.

Garden fresh produce

Though we are not certified organic, we raise all our produce naturally. No chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We invite you to come visit anytime, see how your food is grown, and if your family would like you can certainly pick your own, whatever is in season! First up right now is mixed baby salad greens; baby rainbow root veggies (carrots and beets) will follow soon, along with butternut squash. Spinach should be ready soon. Then an assortment of winter veggies - will keep you posted!

Grass Fed and Finished Beef

We realize everyone is increasingly concerned about what goes into our food supply and where it is coming from. Our cattle are raised on the range in Arizona and eat range grass until they come here for the last couple months where we finish them on alfalfa. The fat in grass fed and finished beef is as healthy for you as fish oil, as my cardiologist once told me! It is high in CLA's, or Conjugated Linoleic Acids, which are anti-inflammatory and actually help your body burn fat and boost your immune system. Once grains are introduced into a ruminant's diet (which nature never intended for them to eat) everything changes and then you get the kind of nutritional profile your doctor likes to warn you about and that has given red meat a black eye for some time.

We realize in today's busy, fast-paced world, it's increasingly more difficult to find time for some of the simple pleasures. A loaf of freshly baked bread, or fragrant apple or peach pie, or pumpkin or orange cranberry bread and cookies at Christmastime - we are here to help you! Just place your order and we will do our best to have it ready for you when you want it.

We will also offer artisanal home crafted personal care products (goats milk soaps, lotions, mousses, lip balms, etc.) and a growing line of botanicals.
